Mad Science hands-on science workshops are themed around a particular topic of science outlined by the Singapore Primary School Syllabus. With professional lesson plans, unique equipment, and animated instructors, Mad Science Workshops are an ideal way to reinforce core science concepts.

Our signature Mad Science Workshops incorporate spectacular science demonstrations using professional Science equipment, group work and one-on one experiments.

Mad Science offers a hands on, kinesthetic, enquiry based approach to learning Science concepts which are often abstract and difficult to grasp for many students who simply find studying textbooks or learning Science in theory very difficult. As a result Science becomes boring and difficult concepts, daunting.

The Mad Science Experience aims to excite imaginative learning and introduce a fun element to Science discovery with hands-on experimentation.

Mad Science workshops also encourages students to work in teams and learn from group work, which is a valuable life skill and which many young children are not used to in school. As well, wherever possible, we harness the children's excitement and pride in a completed Science project and channel this energy into presenting to an audience. In this way, we hope to create opportunities and build children's confidence in speaking about difficult concepts to an audience.

At the end of the workshop, children leave with a science kit that cements the learning, as well as encourages more experimentation and self directed learning after the Mad Science workshop.

Each workshop is also accompanied by a Teacher Resource Package to help educators maximize the learning experience before and after the experience.

ATTENTION PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS! For Higher Order Process Skills (HOPS) coaching, we have also introduced a series of hands-on workshops that guide process skills thinking linked to the hands on experiments that students would have just completed. This is a kinesthetic, multi-sensory approach to HOPS coaching - not drilling which leaves a student bored and frustrated.
